I am writing in the context of the projects you have completed working for the Partnership.

Type of project - The projects have varied from small maintenance public address replacement projects to large scale new department store projects.( 250,000ft2) . Aqord have worked as a single named contractor on major projects and in competition in tenders. Aqord have been part of all the recent John Lewis department stores, namely JL Cambridge, JL Leicester, JL Liverpool and JL Cardiff.

Complexity of the Project - John Lewis department stores are complex in that the Public Address system is a prime point of the customer interface (automatic messages for opening and closing) and as part of the fire alarm system life safety system (PA/VA system). These systems must not only work first time but every time correctly. Aqord have delivered a totally complete system on each occassion.

Service Aqord has provided - A key aspect of Aqord is their customer service in not only having the technical knowledge available, but also the correct level pragmatic application to meet the customer's need. It is evident that Aqord have operational understanding of the Retail environment. The enthusiastic Aqord team approach each project with the same intent to delver quality work, that is managed and communicated in a professional business like way for all projects. Value of the projects - Each new department store will be in the reion. Of £200,000, which includes, new control panels, new control racks and all forms of speakers and microphones. Aqord are also part of the supply chain of contractors for the new format department stores of 50,000ft2. JL Poole was completed in September 2009 Future projects working with John Lewis and Waitrose Aqord are listed as part of the supply chain of contractors/suppliers for future projects to meet the John Lewis growth plans..
